  • 1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 stick margarine, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 c. cake flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 8 oz. mixed candied fruit
  • 8 oz. red cherries, candied
  • 8 oz. green and red pineapple
  • 1 lb. chopped dates
  • 3 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. flour

    Mix fruits, dates and nuts, then sprinkle with flour until coated; set aside.
