- 1 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 (1 lb.) pkg. confectioners sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. lemon extract
- 2 c. sifted cake flour
Directions

1Cream butter and confectioners sugar in large mixer bowl until light and fluffy.

2Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Add flavorings alternately with flour, beating well after each addition.

4Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

5Cool in pan for 10 minutes.

6Invert onto serving plate.

7May spread with cream cheese icing if desired. Yield:
