  • 1 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 1 (1 lb.) pkg. confectioners sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract
  • 2 c. sifted cake flour

Directions

    Cream butter and confectioners sugar in large mixer bowl until light and fluffy.

    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

    Add flavorings alternately with flour, beating well after each addition.

    Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

    Cool in pan for 10 minutes.

    Invert onto serving plate.

    May spread with cream cheese icing if desired. Yield:
