- 2 1/3 cups self-rising flour, sifted
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp cold butter, chopped
- 3/4 cup grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 bunch chives, snipped
- 3/4 cup milk
- None None Butter, to serve
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.

2Mix flour, mustard and salt in large bowl. Add butter. Using fingertips, rub in until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Stir in cheese and herbs. Add milk; stir until dough comes together.

3Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently. Form into a 6-inch rustic round shape. Place on prepared pan.

4Bake 35-40 mins, until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean and bottom sounds hollow when tapped. Serve warm with butter.
