Herb Buttered Popcorn

   For the herb butter: Mash the butter until it gets softened.

   Add oregano, thyme, lime zest and pepper.

   Mash until all is combined.

   Then, add the Parmesan cheese and mince once again until all is incorporated.

   Place this mashed butter onto parchment paper.

   Wrap it and set aside.

   If you live in a place with hot weather just like mine, you can take the butter to the fridge.

   For the popcorn: Dice the herb butter into small pieces.

   Set aside.

    In a large saucepan over a medium-high heat, melt the regular butter.

    Once it is melted, add popcorn kernels.

    Stir for a while until kernels start to pop.

    Cover the saucepan with a lid.

    Once the popping slows down, turn off the heat and wait until the last popcorn kernel pops.

    Remove the lid carefully, season with salt and the diced herb butter.

    Cover the saucepan with the lid and shake it a little.

    Let the saucepan sit covered for a minute.

    Grab a large bowl and serve the popcorn in it.
