- 1 leg of lamb
- 1/2 tsp. garlic slivers
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. coarse black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1 bay leaf, crumbled
- 3/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. sage
- 1/2 tsp. marjoram
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300°.

2Cut small slits in the lamb and insert garlic slivers with tip of knife.

3Combine remaining ingredients and rub thoroughly over and into meat.

4Roast on a rack in a roasting pan, uncovered.

5Cook 18 minutes per pound for medium. Let stand 20 minutes, then carve.
