Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • 4 Tbsp. freshly snipped chives
  • 1 Tbsp. white pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. sweet basil (more, if fresh)
  • 2 tsp. marjoram (more, if fresh)
  • 2 lb. cream cheese

Directions

    Simmer all ingredients, except cream cheese, in a saucepan for 15 minutes.

    Place in a processor with cream cheese.

    Mix well. Chill several days to ripen.

    Serve with crackers, celery sticks or other vegetables.
