Ingredients
- 2 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 c. water (warm)
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 c. scalded milk
- 2/3 c. melted shortening
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. salt
- 2 beaten eggs
- 10 to 11 c. flour
Directions

1Soften yeast in warm water.

2Add 1 teaspoon of sugar to yeast mixture.

3Cool milk to warm and add to yeast.

4Also add shortening, 3/4 cup sugar, salt and eggs. Beat well.

5Add flour to make soft dough.

6Let stand 10 minutes.

7Knead.

8Place in greased bowl.

9Turn ball over to grease top side and cover.

10Store in refrigerator.

11Shape rolls 2 to 3 hours before baking.

12Let rise. Bake at 425° for 15 to 20 minutes.

13Keeps in refrigerator about a week.
