Homemade Spring Rolls

- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onion peeled and minced
- 1 leek minced
- 1 carrot large, peeled and diced
- 9/16 pound minced meat
- ground black pepper
- salt
- wonton wrappers
- cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 egg beaten
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

2Add the onion, leek, and carrot to a skillet on medium heat with the oil. Saute for 5 minutes.

3Add the minced meat. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper and continue to cook for 5 minutes. Let it cool.

4Place a wonton wrapper on a cutting board. Add some of the filling and cheese into the center of the wrapper.

5Roll the sheet, pressing the filling together to keep it from spilling out.

6Fold one of the sides in. Repeat with the other side.

7Finish rolling, brush with the beaten egg to seal the border.

8Repeat for the remaining wrappers and filling.

9Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes or until crispy and golden on the outside. You can also fry the rolls in plenty of hot oil.
