  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. honey
  • 1/2 c. chopped dates
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Bring butter and honey to a boil and boil to 260° on candy thermometer or to the hard-ball stage.

    Remove from heat and add chopped dates and nuts.

    Stir for 2 minutes, then pour into buttered pan.

    Cool.

    Cut into squares.

    May be wrapped in cellophane for gift giving or to store.
