  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 sticks cinnamon
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 qt. hot water
  • 2 to 3 c. rum

    Put all ingredients in crock-pot.

    Stir well.

    Cover and cook on high for 2 hours, then turn to low for 3 to 10 hours.
