Hot Clam Dip

  • 1 (6 oz.) can chopped or minced clams
  • 1 box Ritz crackers
  • 1 onion, chopped fine
  • 1 stick butter
  • lemon juice (optional)
  • Tabasco sauce to taste

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Melt butter in saucepan. Add chopped onion and simmer until golden. Remove from heat.

    Crush one sleeve of Ritz crackers until you achieve coarse crumbs. Stir cracker crumbs in butter/onion mixture. Add in can of clams. Stir until well mixed and spoon into an oven-safe bowl.

    Bake at 350° for approximately 20 minutes.

    Serve with remaining Ritz crackers.
