Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. potatoes, cut in halves
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. celery seed
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- dash of pepper
Directions

1Cook potatoes and set aside.

2Cook bacon in 10-inch skillet until crisp.

3Drain bacon, reserving fat in skillet.

4Add onion and cook until tender.

5Stir in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper.

6Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until bubbly; remove from heat.

7Stir in water and vinegar.

8Heat to boiling, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.

9Remove from heat.

10Cut warm potatoes into 1/4-inch slices.

11Add potatoes and crumbled bacon to mixture.

12Heat until hot and bubbly, stirring gently to coat potatoes.
