- 1 lb mussels
- 14 cup fresh basil leaf, chopped
- 6 Thai red chili peppers, finely chopped (or 2 Jolokia peppers)
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemongrass, chopped
- 18 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- 12 cup green onion, chopped
- 12 teaspoon fish sauce
- 18 teaspoon sea salt
- 12 cup water
Directions

1clean and debeard mussels.

2cook mussels on hickory bbq until open.

3discard any unopened mussels.

4set aside cooked mussels.

5heat oil in saute pan.

6add onion and garlic to oil until golden.

7add lemongrass, fish sauce, water, salt and chile peppers.

8simmer for 5 minutes.

9add mussels and basil to mix.

10stir until hot and serve.
