- 4 cloves Garlic, Skin Still On
- 1 can Chickpeas (15 Oz. Can), Drained
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cumin
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cups Lemon Juice
- 5 whole Pitas
Directions

1Place the garlic in a preheated saute pan and heat through.

2Set aside and remove the skin.

3Place the rinsed chickpeas, garlic, olive oil, cumin and salt and pepper in a food processor.

4Slowly add the lemon juice, tasting as you go.

5Blend to your liking.

6Refrigerate for 2 hours and serve with pita chips.

7Make pita chips by cutting a whole pita into eighths and then splitting it them half.

8Place in a preheated 350-degree oven for 10 minutes until the edges just start to brown.

9Store in an airtight container.
