Ingredients
- 9 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 6 egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 2 c. milk, scald and let cool
- 2 packets yeast mix with 2 tsp. sugar and 1/4 c. warm water (about 113~ to 115~)
- 1 lb. butter (using all butter is very rich; I use half margarine, but it does need part butter)
Directions

1Mix flour, salt and sugar together.

2Add butter and margarine and mix like for pie dough.

3Add egg yolks to cooled milk. Make well in flour mixture and add milk mixture and yeast.

4Blend together with hands (do not over knead).

5Cover and place in refrigerator for few hours or overnight if desired.

6Make into 1/2 pound balls (will make 6).
