- 3 qt. cucumbers, sliced
- 2 c. vinegar
- 3 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. salt (scant; not iodized)
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
- 3 large onions, chopped
- 1 large bell pepper, chopped
Directions

1Mix vinegar, sugar, salt and spices in a pan; set aside.

2Stir once in a while.

3While you prepare vegetables, mix good and place in large mouth gallon jar.

4Pour vinegar mixture over pickles and put in icebox.

5Stir pickles every day or two; best after 2 weeks.
