- 4 c. unsifted flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/4 c. warm water
Directions

1Mix flour, salt and baking powder.

2Add water and knead thoroughly; cover and let stand for 10 minutes.

3Make 10 or 12 balls, about 2 inches in diameter and then roll them flat and thin with a rolling pin.

4Make two slashes in the center.

5Fry on both sides in hot oil until golden brown.

6Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
