- 3 c. flour
- 4 Tbsp. baking powder (yes that's right, 4 Tbsp.)
- 1/4 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Mix all ingredients with sufficient water to make a stiff dough.

2Place in a covered bowl and let set for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

3Pinch off small balls and work out into large circles.

4Fry in deep hot fat until golden brown.

5Serve with butter, syrup, jelly, vegetables or meat.
