Ingredients: 1/4 head Romaine lettuce; 1/2 head Iceberg lettuce; 1 c. chopped celery; 3 green onions, chopped; 1 11-oz. can Mandarin orange slices, drained; 1/4 c. oil; 2 Tbsp. sugar; 3 Tbsp. Zesty Italian dressing; 2 Tbsp. vinegar; 2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped (may use dried also); 3 dashes Tabasco sauce; 1/4 c. almonds, sliced; 1 Tbsp. water; 1 Tbsp. sugar

3 Tbsp. Zesty Italian dressing
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped (may use dried also)

1/4 c. almonds, sliced
1 Tbsp. water
1 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

Prepare the topping in a saucepan over low heat, by cooking together almonds, water and sugar until sugar melts or moisture is gone.

Pour onto waxed paper and let cool.
