- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 c. cooked tomatoes
- 2 c. uncooked spaghetti, broken into pieces
- shredded cheese
Directions

1Cook onion, oil and sugar in a large pan until light brown. Add ground beef; crumble up and brown, stirring frequently.

2Drain off grease.

3Add tomatoes, cooked spaghetti and salt and pepper to taste.

4Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover with lid and simmer 20 minutes.

5Stir often.

6Pour out in dish and put cheese on top, if desired.
