  • 2-1/2 cups raisins
  • 1-1/2 cups pitted dates -- chopped
  • 1/2 cup candied cherries
  • 1-1/2 cups mixed candied fruit
  • 1-1/2 cups rum
  • CAKE
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup margarine -- softened
  • 2 cups dark brown sugar
  • 5 each eggs
  • 3/4 cup almonds -- sliced
