- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (6 ounce) tomato paste
- 1 (8 ounce) tomato sauce
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 12 teaspoon dried oregano
- 12 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 bay leaf
- 1 (8 ounce) package lasagna noodles
- 1 lb mozzarella cheese
- 12 cup parmesan cheese
Directions

1Brown meat; drain.

2Add onions; cook until soft.

3Add garlic, tomato paste and tomato sauce.

4Add all other ingredients, except cheese and noodles.

5Cover and simmer for 1 hour.

6Cook lasagna (9) noodles.

7Boil for 9 minutes; drain.

8Set in cold water.

9Use glass dish, 9x13 dish.

10Spread sauce on bottom, put 3 noodles, layer of sauce, cheese, and Parmesan cheese and repeat 2 more times.

11Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
