- 2 c. squash
- 2 eggs, beaten
- cheese (hoop type) to liking
- small amount of butter
- 1 small onion
- 2 slices bread
Directions

1Boil squash and chopped onion.

2Drain and return to pan.

3Add eggs and butter.

4Layer squash with cheese (2 layers of each, use plenty of cheese).

5Crumble bread on top and pat with butter. Bake at 450° until brown on top.
