  • 3 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 3 eggs, mixed
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 Tbsp. water (if needed)

Directions

    Cream sugar and Crisco.

    Add flour and eggs alternately, mixing well.

    Add water, if needed, to make dough soft.

    Mix in vanilla. Knead on floured surface until stiff.

    Roll out thin.

    Cut with different shaped cookie cutters.

    Decorate as desired.

    Bake at 325° until brown.

    Makes lots of cookies.
