- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 2 stems celery, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 pkg. macaroni
- salt to taste
- 1 lb. ground beef
- salt and pepper
- 1 c. barbecue sauce
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- a little hot sauce
- a little Worcestershire sauce
- 2 c. grated cheese
Directions

1Saute in a skillet the first 4 ingredients in the oil.

2Cook the macaroni with salt to taste.

3Put sauteed vegetables aside and brown the ground beef in skillet with salt and pepper.

4Pour off grease.

5Mix vegetables with meat. Add the barbecue sauce, tomato sauce, hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce.

6Let simmer for a few minutes.

7Pour water off macaroni.

8Put half the macaroni in baking dish.

9Spoon half the meat sauce on top of macaroni. Sprinkle with 1 cup grated cheese. Repeat layers of macaroni and meat sauce. Top with 1 cup grated cheese.

10Bake at 350° until cheese melts.
