Ingredients

  • 4 cups kale
  • 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, rinsed
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup or 2 tablespoons honey
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper, freshly ground
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce (optional)
  • 12 teaspoon smoked paprika

Directions

    Trim all tough stems from kale and roughly chop.

    Place the kale in a food processor or blender and pulse until pureed.

    Add the remaining ingredients through hot sauce if used and blend, reserving 1 tbsp olive oil for dressing the finished hummus.

    Dust with paprika if desired and serve with chips.
