Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef, browned
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 Tbsp. basil or Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 c. tomatoes
  • 16 oz. can tomato paste
  • 10 oz. pkg. noodles
  • 2 (12 oz.) cartons large curd cottage cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Brown ground beef.

    Add oil, garlic, parsley flakes, basil or Italian seasoning, salt, tomatoes and tomato paste.

    Simmer for 1 hour.

    Cook noodles and a little salt.

    Add oil to water so noodles won't stick.

    Mix cottage cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper and 2 tablespoons parsley flakes.

    Layer in pan the noodles, cheese mixture, meat sauce and top with Mozzarella cheese.

    Bake until cheese on top melts.
