- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 pt. tomatoes
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 c. sliced ripe olives (optional)
- 1 pkg. lasagna noodles, cooked
Directions

1Brown meat in olive oil.

2Add onion and garlic. Cook until onion is transparent.

3Add tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, basil, oregano, pepper and bay leaf.

4Cover and simmer one hour.

5Stir in olives.
