- 1 head lettuce, broken into bite size pieces
- 1 c. celery, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 purple onion, diced
- 1 small can English peas
- 1 pt. mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Using large glass or plastic bowl that has flared top, layer vegetables in order named; do not mix.

2Spread mayonnaise over top to seal.

3Sprinkle sugar, then cheese over this.

4Seal with covering of plastic wrap or tight fitting lid.

5Refrigerate 8 to 12 hours.

6When ready to serve, sprinkle top with crumbled fresh fried bacon or artificial bacon bits.

7Serves 10 to 12.
