  • 1 head lettuce, torn
  • 1/2 c. each: carrot, celery, green pepper, onion, water chestnuts or any crunchy vegetables you prefer
  • 2 boxes frozen peas, unthawed
  • 1/2 pt. mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 4 eggs, boiled and chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • bacon bits
  • 6 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded

    Prepare night before.

    In large bowl, preferably glass, so that layers may be seen, layer vegetables as listed.

    Cover with thin

    layer of mayonnaise sprinkled with sugar and Parmesan cheese.

    with eggs, tomatoes, bacon bits and Cheddar cheese. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight.
