Layered Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped fine
  • 1/3 purple onion, sliced thin and quartered
  • 1/2 pkg. bacon, fried crisp
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar

Directions

    Break lettuce in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Layer celery and layer onion.

    Mix the sour cream, sugar, mayonnaise and vinegar.

    Pour over the layers, then crumble bacon over.

    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

    Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
