Lazy Day Cake/Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar or more to taste
  • all purpose flour 3 Cups of
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 cups cold water

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 350° F

    Combine all ingredients until smooth. Add more sugar as necessary.

    For a cake: place in a 9-by-13 inch pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.

    For cupcakes: Fill until 3/4 full and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Allow to cool for 2 minutes before taking out of the pan to cool for another 30 minutes (after these 30 minutes you may frost the cupcakes, I did not, I simply added a Hershey Kiss on some for decoration & deliciousness).

    This cake/cupcakes will stay fresh after 3 to 4 days, if they last that long that is!
