- 4 qt. cucumbers
- 1 c. mustard
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. pickling salt
- 2 Tbsp. pickling spice
- 1 gal. vinegar
Directions

1Wash and examine cucumbers.

2If small, use the whole cucumber. If large, cut into strips.

3Pack into glass jars.

4Mix mustard, sugar, salt and spices together.

5Add the vinegar slowly, stirring well.

6Pour the brine over the pickles and seal.

7Put in a cool, dark place.

8After a week they are ready to eat and you don't have to heat the brine.
