- 1 cup real butter
- 12 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 eggs, well beaten
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups sugar
- 8 tablespoons lemon juice
- 12 tablespoon grated lemon rind
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Directions

1Cream first 3 ingredients together and spread evenly in an ungreased jelly roll pan.

2Bake for 15 minutes at 350F until lightly brown.

3Beat eggs, mix with remaining ingredients, pour over pastry.

4Bake 30 minutes at 325F Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

5Cool for 15 minutes, then cut into bars.

6Store in refrigerator.
