- 5 to 6 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 Tbsp. each lemon extract and grated lemon rind
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. oleo
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Combine sugar, salt, flour and yeast.

2Head milk, butter and water until very warm.

3Pour into flour mixture and beat; add eggs, lemon juice and the grated rind.

4Let rise.

5Turn on floured board.

6Knead.

7Place in greased and floured loaf pans.

8Let rise again.

9Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes; let cool.

10Put topping of powdered sugar, butter and lemon extract.
