- 2 c. sugar
- 8 eggs
- 16 oz. butter (not oleo)
- 16 oz. candied cherries, chopped
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 4 c. flour, divided
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 16 oz. pecans, chopped
- 16 oz. candied pineapple, chopped
- 2 oz. lemon extract
Directions

1Combine fruit with 1 cup flour and baking powder.

2In another bowl, cream butter with sugars.

3Add eggs, flour and lemon extract.

4Add fruit and flour mixture with chopped pecans.

5Fill a greased and floured tube pan 3/4 full.

6Bake 2 hours at 300°. Loaf pans may be used.
