- 1 egg yolk
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch (may add more)
- 1 lemon
Directions

1Grate the rind of the lemon and squeeze the juice.

2Use a good boiler and stir the egg yolk, sugar, water, lemon and juice, and cornstarch.

3Cook until icing has thickened.
