- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
- grated rind of 2 lemons
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. boiling water
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/3 to 1/2 c. lemon juice
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients together.

2Add boiling water while stirring constantly.

3Cook until thick in double boiler.

4Add beaten egg yolks and cook about 2 minutes longer.

5Add lemon juice and rinds and cook until thick.

6Pour into 9-inch baked pie shell. Cover with meringue.

7Bake at 350° for 18 minutes until brown.
