- 6 teaspoons flour
- 6 teaspoons butter, melted
- 2 cups sugar (divided)
- 4 eggs, seperated
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon lemon, zest of
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
Directions

1Mix flour, butter and 1-1/2 c sugar.

2Beat egg yolks; add to bowl along with milk and lemon zest.

3Mix well.

4Add lemon juice.

5Beat egg whites until stiff, adding remaining sugar while beating.

6Fold whites into batter.

7Pour into 2 qt baking dish then put the dish in a shallow pan of hot water.

8Bake at 350* for 55 minutes or until lightly browned.
