  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 egg whites

    Cream sugar and butter.

    Then add flour.

    Add egg yolks, then add the juice and rind of 1 lemon.

    Add milk and egg whites (beaten until stiff) last.

    Pour into unbaked pie crust and bake 35 minutes in slow oven for 10 minutes at 400°, then decreased to 350° for the remaining 25 minutes.
