- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 egg whites
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter.

2Then add flour.

3Add egg yolks, then add the juice and rind of 1 lemon.

4Add milk and egg whites (beaten until stiff) last.

5Pour into unbaked pie crust and bake 35 minutes in slow oven for 10 minutes at 400°, then decreased to 350° for the remaining 25 minutes.
