  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. light salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 1/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 c. butter or Mazola margarine
  • 4 egg whites only
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
