Ingredients

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup Equal sugar substitute (Equal spoonful)
  • 13 cup cocoa
  • 13 cup flour
  • 18 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 12 teaspoon vanilla
  • 9 inches baked pie crusts, cooled

Directions

    Beat egg yolks, add milk.

    Sift together Equal Spoonful, cocoa, flour, and salt in a microwaveable bowl.

    Stir in about 1/3 of the milk mixture to make a smooth paste.

    Slowly stir in remaining milk/egg until smooth.

    Microwave about 4 minutes, stopping every 30 to 60 seconds to stir, until thick.

    Add 1T butter and 1/2 t. vanilla, stir until butter melts.

    Pour into baked pie shell.

    Top with meringue if desired or lite whipped topping.

    Chill.
