Ingredients
- 2 cakes yeast
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. scalded milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 4 c. flour
Directions

1Crumble yeast in bowl.

2Add 1 tablespoon of sugar, scalded milk, 1/2 cup sugar, butter and salt.

3Stir to blend and cool to lukewarm.

4Add yeast mixture and beaten eggs.

5Mix well.

6Add flour gradually and beat with a spoon until smooth.

7Turn into greased bowl and let rise until doubled (or let rise in refrigerator overnight).

8Punch down and make rolls.

9Let rise again and bake dinner rolls in 400° oven for 10 minutes.
