- 8 ounces linguine, uncooked
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 cup fat-free evaporated milk
- 14 cup red pepper, finely chopped
- 18 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 18 teaspoon pepper
- 12 cup parmesan cheese, grated (divided)
- 12 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Directions

1Cook linguine according to directions.

2Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the next 5 ingredients.

3Cook and stir over medium-low heat until mixture reaches 160 degrees and coats the back of a metal spoon.

4Stir in 1/4 cup of the parmesan cheese, the peas and the bacon; heat through.

5Drain linguine; toss with sauce.

6Sprinkle with the remaining parmesan cheese.

7Serve immediately.
