- 3 to 3 1/2 lb. boneless pot roast
- 1 envelope Lipton onion-mushroom soup mix
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 4 potatoes
- 4 carrots
- 2 to 4 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
Directions

1In Dutch oven, brown roast.

2Add soup mix blended with 2 cups water. Simmer, covered, turning occasionally, 2 hours.

3Cut potatoes into 1-inch pieces and slice carrots thinly.

4Add to roast and cook an additional 30 minutes until vegetables are tender.

5Remove roast and vegetables.

6Blend 1/2 cup water with flour. Stir into Dutch oven. Bring to a boil, then simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 5 minutes.

7Makes 6 servings.
