- 2 c. milk, scalded
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 3 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water
- 8 or 9 c. flour
Directions

1Add butter, salt and sugar to milk.

2Add eggs and yeast dissolved in warm water.

3Add flour to this mixture.

4Turn out and knead while adding more flour.

5Let rise until double in size. Punch down and knead to remove air bubbles.

6Divide into 3 loaves. Put in well-greased loaf pans.

7Let rise again until double in size.

8Bake at 350° until brown, 35 to 40 minutes.
