Long Fig Bruschetta

- 12 oz dried figs, thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 None baguettes, about 12 inches each
- 1/4 cup vegetable or olive oil
- 8.75 oz cream cheese
- 2 tbsp dill, chopped
- 5 oz arugula
Directions

1Place figs, vinegar and sugar in a medium sized glass or ceramic bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let stand for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2Meanwhile, cut each baguette lengthwise into 5 slices. Preheat a grill pan on medium heat. Brush both sides of bread slices with oil. Add bread to grill; cook and turn for 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool.

3Combine cream cheese and dill in a medium bowl. Spread cheese mixture over bread slices. Top with fig mixture, then arugula. Season to taste and serve.
