- 2 tablespoons butter
- 14 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 14 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon dry mustard
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 2 12 cups skim milk
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
- 8 ounces dry elbow macaroni, cooked according to package directions
Directions

1Melt butter in medium saucepan.

2Stir in flour, salt, mustard and pepper until smooth.

3Remove from heat and gradually stir in skim milk until smooth.

4Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat until thickened (about 10 minutes).

5Stir in 1 1/2 cups cheese until melted.

6Combine cheese mixture with macaroni in greased 2 quart casserole.

7Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.

8Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
