- 2 lbs chicken pieces
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sherry wine
- 2 tablespoons light soya sauce
- 2 teaspoons grated ginger
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
Directions

1Coat chicken pieces in flour.

2In nonstick frying pan, add oil and cook chicken for 5 minutes or until well browned, turning often.

3Arrange chicken in a 9 by 12 baking dish.

4Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour evenly over chicken.

5Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to one hour, turning once during baking.

6Cover with foil if it is browning too quickly.

7Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
