  • 1/2 sticks Unsalted Butter
  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 2-1/2 ounces, fluid Pure Maple Syrup
  • 3 teaspoons Milk Or Heavy Cream - As Needed

    In a medium sized bowl cream together the butter and cream cheese with a mixer. Next add the powdered sugar and maple syrup in batches, mixing well. If the icing is too thick add milk or cream, a teaspoonful at a time until the desired consistency is reached. This icing is delicious on spice cake and will cover a 13x9 cake.
